In an endeavor to inform the public about the signs and symptoms of type 1 diabetes, the Children’s Diabetes Foundation has created materials that provide information to educate the community. The Education & Awareness Committee distributes these materials to school nurses, pediatricians, emergency personnel, and other community organizations in hopes of stimulating awareness and detecting early diagnosis.
