The Young Professionals (YP) program will plan cocktail hours, volunteer opportunities, and social events to encourage participation and networking for members in their communities. The YP program is open to anyone between the ages of 21-39 and for people who have a passion for helping others while having fun and building connections. This program, supported in part by the Guild of CDF, assists families in times of exceptional need. This includes purchasing diabetes supplies, helping with travel expenses to get to appointments, and other supplemental funds as necessary. Proper supplies, education, and care allow a patient to properly manage diabetes and by bettering their care now, their risk for long term complications is much lower. This program also provides additional assistance during the holiday season (see Holiday Assistance program below).

This program provides financial support for pregnant women with type 1 diabetes (T1D) to ensure they have the proper technology, supplies, and associated appointment funds to ensure a healthy pregnancy and baby.

The program serves at-risk pregnant women who do not have access to Continuous Glucose Monitoring (CGM) systems and other related resources to improve their diabetes care.

Every year, The Guild of the Children’s Diabetes Foundation provides meal and gift assistance for patients and families at the Barbara Davis Center for Diabetes. Your gift will be used to assist the 93 families and 276 children in need who applied for assistance. Often times, this assistance is the difference between families being able to have a meal on the table for the holidays and gifts for the children to enjoy.
