Diamonds for Diabetes

Diamonds for Diabetes is an annual event hosted by Thollot & Co. Jewelers to benefit the Children’s Diabetes Foundation. Starting with a kickoff gala at the store on November 22, attendees can purchase a gift ornament from one of three Giving Trees with a surprise inside for just $35. Thanks to the generous donation of these gifts by Thollot & Co., 100% of proceeds go directly to CDF in support of the Helping Hand program.

After two of their daughters were diagnosed with type 1 diabetes, the Thollot family recognized the financial strain that comes with caring for and treating T1D patients. In 2008, they kicked off an annual fundraising event where they filled small gift boxes with loose gemstones and jewelry, and attendees could purchase one with all money raised going back to the Children’s Diabetes Foundation. Since its inception, Diamonds for Diabetes has raised over $150,000 for CDF.

Thollot & Co. is located at 3790 E 104th Avenue in Thornton, CO, just east of I-25 and 104th Avenue. There is parking on site.

Not to worry! The Diamonds for Diabetes event lasts through December 30. You can visit the store at any time during store hours to purchase your $35 gift ornament and help a type 1 patient and their family.
